Awesome concept. So vague, but you can already see that it's going to be great.

Hi all. I was busy, but this weekend was free, I made some concept work and determined general character proportion. I think this is will be my start point for modeling, but may be I add some elements later.
P.S.
Character without helmet I surely create them in model.:)

Hi all, now I start create model. I decide combine my first and second sketches in one character. All comments are welcome.

looking fantastic, I would like to see something coming from the back of his helmet. Maybe make it more like a headdress but not nearly as long. I like the hawk theme that the first image represents and I think it would be awesome to carry it over. Good work so far!

Ahhhh - that's looking so cool, man:)
You're concepting skills are badass btw, but I wasn't feeling that second piece. That guy looks a LOT like a UNSC soldier from Halo, so I'm glad that you went with a blend of both designs, 'cuz that first idea is great looking! Even though he's just an outline; he had a great silhouette (very important) and clearly had a sortof "Golden Age of Comics"-style armor set.
It looks very cool, so your current character...also looks really cool:) I like the heavy feeling of the armor he obtained from your second concept, but the almost G-Force (Tatsunoko's, not not NOT Disney's crappy movie about guinea pigs) style helmet is awesome. Can't wait to see more!

Hi everyone. Thanks very much for all comments. Unfortunately I can't finish my character in time, so may be I finish theme latter. Good luck every one and I hope see you in next challenge. :D

My sentiments exactly, though I can totally undertand. Though I won't officially give up till the 11th hour, I doubt I'll be able to finish this one myself. I'm honestly surprised - most comps that I've entered have had their due dates pushed, but they seem to be sticking harshly to the due date originally set forth for this - the last Game Art comp of '09.
Oh well - keep the idea alive man! It's always going to be an awesome character!
