Going for the next big flood ( not much to choose from: flood, earthquake, nuclear war and asteroids)

I´ve started by blocking in the city with the cubes and adding some water to se if it feels ok..

Nice image, but a bit too monotone for me. Also slightly confused by the different water levels: high on the left, medium at the rear, low in the centre.
