Hey guys!

Thought I would take part in this interesting topic as well! I do have time on my hands at the moment haha

Anyways my idea is going to be that the earth for some unknown reason lost its gravitational pull. I have been watching the first season of "The Universe" a history channel series and recently have been very interested in the whole idea of the fabric of space and time. So why not do a matte :D

I will hopefully post up some concepts soon. And if you are interested visit my blog HERE (http://matellis.blogspot.com/) I will be streaming my painting live. And probably let people know when im working if interested! I am loving being able to get instant crits and feedback while I work.

Thanks!

Here is a very quick speed paint. Just playing with some shapes. I have actually already started a painting with the lava/magma doing this same sort of thing, but I thought I would give it a try here. So there will be buildings floating around, blobs of lava etc. Its a bit busy though so I am not sure.

Hey sorry guys!

I think im going to bail from the challenge. Since I placed 1st in last months I don't feel right about entering again. I think I will just chill out and do some character sketching and video game playing for xmas holidays! Then work on my demo reel.

Thanks again guys, and I look forward to all of the mattes for this months challenge.

Happy Holidays!
