Great ideas I have seen on this months challenge, wish everyone the best of luck.:lurve:
This is my concept :

** Today is not for the Horsemen to cast their demons on the humans. I
will twist the power of God and send the flames back to the heavens **

Tarik2d : Thanks and yes is a massive hammer. At first i was going to have her with a sword but she looks scarier with a hammer.

yeah defo i like it, just think about giving her a pair of manly shoulders to swing the Hammer round. Whats going on the head? is it soft of hard?

her pose and outfit remind me of Lady Deathstrike or Electra just a bit. Looking good though ;)

Tarik2d : The shoulders your right making them stronger. This model is inspired by combining two art styles. My favorite illustrator Luis Rojo , and for the last year or so the style of Hyung Tae Kim. Aggressive Sexy warrior with a mix Mythical New age look. I hope I can pull this off.

exigaen : Yes, the look Electra came to mind last night the minute I had her with swords, so I made the change to a hammer.

Tarik2d : No, problem I was working on color schemes on my way to work this morning. I'll see if I can post it tonight with a zSphere mesh.

I haven't had a chance between the fam and work time is eating away. I need to have it set-up this week and work on next.

I'll be exporting a obj to Maya and refine the model there, then bring back to Zbrush for detailing. I should have the low poly done before I dive into the world of " Avatar ".

First off, nice work so far man. I like your concepting skills a lot, and it's always good to see people make progress. Can't wait to see more. Also, you seem to be doing the exact same thing I'm doing - creating a Zsphere person, exporting into a low poly modeler (I use 3ds Max) and refining things there. I'll be keepin a close eye on this thread then, because this is the first comp I've used Zbrush in, and if there are any tricks to learn (or anything about a workflow to pick up, really), I wanna catch 'em!

Speaking of which, I don't know if you'll use, but i had it on the ole' second monitor for reference, even though I know my Zbrush basics:
http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Tutorial:_Pinup
Might wanna give it a look over, since it shows how to get a nice, curvy girl out of a blocky, simple Zsphere model....

Secondly, New Jersey? I used to work (briefly) at a game studio in Jersey - don't suppose you've heard of Digital Embryo or N-fusion? I didn't work at N-fusion, but they were close by.

VinsatityV20: Thanks for the link I just noticed it after I updated my Zsphere. I will be using that tutorial to shape the rest of the model in zbrush. As per workflow I'm just getting into modeling now and I have learned from 3DT forum how to go about a smooth work-flow. Hopefully I'll develop one with my style. I just moved to New Jersey almost a year ago but I work in the NYC for The Big Picture, inc. Is a print-shop for all events from trade-shows, commercial, retail, move and television props, and corporate events. Thanks for the infor on Digital embryo and N-Fusion.

Tarik2d : Thanks for the support.

So, this is where I stand now and I should finish the armor and weapon by no later then tomorrow.

Looking much better. Just a few things to keep in mind when u take it in zbrush. The waist could be a little bit to thin but dont worry for now just tweak it in zbrush.

But overally looking much better

I'm going to add a bit more depth to her waist once her armor is on I have to upload the final color sketches of the comp with changes. Thanks for pointing that out; I'm sure I would've missed it.

So, I made the boot and how the heel would look like. Still need to thicken the leg so the boot stands out more. I will be adding armor to the front of the boot. One of the major changes is that now she is standing straight. Before she look like she had a bad case of diarrhea....LOL. I included a close-up of the foot; I'm happy with it but the little devil on my shoulder keeps telling me to arch the foot more. What do you guys think?

This is the final mesh. I've used a total of 8132, but there is one final part. I want to add the flying cloth around the arm-band. If it doesn't go over I'll be using it, right now I'm about to crash on my desk. Hope you all had a good holiday.
