LOL I didnt knew it was a challenge here in 3dtotal I usually post things in polycount, maybe I could try here since this is only for fun. I watched the movie 2012 it has some cool effects and mattepaintings there. So I am trying post a view showing half the earth is destroyed. Here is one and comments and crits are needed to get it better. I got inspired by Star Trek were Mr Spocks homeplanet are destroyed.
