Well i think i am a stage now that i should post up some images.
i downloaded the concept off the internet.. might have even been of 3dt.. who knows.. But when isaw it i thought.. yeah thats a army of one.. she has a sadness that looks like she is alone in the world..

So now on to the main event.. as they say.. this the work done is zbrush
i know the render with the material isn't great.. but at this early stage i'm not too worried

Finally.. well for now. anyway.. here are some test renders in max.. (no lighting as of yet)... and my wireframes and UVs..

are you using any ref images. It will help fix the issue your having with proportions.
example, the shoulders are too manly, need to make them smaller. The legs are too small in thickness, you could keep them the way they are, but then you would need to un-buff the rest of the body. The side view has her looking off balanced, the tiny legs are moved to far forward and as I said before, are tiny. If you make a few changes you will be on your way.

yeah i understand what you mean about the legs they are a bit thin.. but i she is an amazon woman.. so surely she would be a bit more butch in the chest and shoulder area.. rather than like a petit woman.. and no- i haven't really got good access to great reference material.. so i am making do with what i can get my hands on.. but considering i am away over the next week.. and the deadline is the end of the month i will probably just leave her the way she is.. and try and make up for it with her clothing and hair.. :ufo:

try some of these images
just plop the one you like on an image plane in max, and then move some verts around.

Shoulders and neck are to wide. She would also look better with some sort of a waist/make the hips larger. belly button is too far down.
