I found this photo on the net and i liked it very much. Going to try to make a cityscape in ruins out of it( use it like a base plate )....Just a first concept, i may change it later...

I just saw your concept and its realy great. More up close and personal then mine. Maybe our concepts share a lot in common now but i am sure that our end mattes will be quite different. I am aiming at a half sci-fi feel when i am done. God luck man.

eyecon, I whink there is no problem here. Your sketch is little bit different, and with another perspective. And, anyway, you guys have your own styles, so, there'se no reason to worrying ;)

Nice picture Saraf.
I'm sure both images(SAraf and eyecon) will look great, and different.
Cheers!

Sorry guys, I might have come out wrong. I wasn't worried or anything at all. I was actually amused thats all. Nothing special, besides I am taking a different route although we do have the same reference (mountain formations) for our inspirations.

Started to integrate some elements. It takes so long time to integrate them properly and perspective is not perfect but i will continue anyway. Next step is to integrate destroyed burned buildings and debris.

Hey man looking great! My only comment is the scale. At what your doing... the plants leaves would look huge... but then maybe they mutated right?

I thing i am going to try selective bluring of the leafs and the little branch in forground is going to disappear. It will make the matte little more painterly looking but what can i do. Thx for comment....

I flipped the canvas and also cropped it quite a bit. (to lazy to work on every mountain).
Slow progress but i am getting there.

looking great man! This is going pretty well. I somehow liked the original colors... they look more realistic. This new one seems a bit too stylistic for me, but then its your call.

I really like the new colors, guess it all subjective.

All participants are required to create their own thread where they need to provide the following:
- A work in progress (WIP) sheet
- A final image

I think there is no final thread anylonger? :D

I give regards for this wonderful work. The fineness is flawless. Actually the horizontal capturing of these high cliff like buildings. The shades of green looks awesome. The barks on high cliffs seem like net.
