Hey guys, thought I'd have a stab at this comp :) true to form I doubt I ll have chance to finish, but should be a fun one to have a go.

Not going to really go into any concepts in any big way on this guy, just see what tickles my fancy for the character as I work along. not the best way to work, but hey it should be a chuckle.

looking at an evil lil guy, half Leanod Nimoy half evil garden gnome.

45 min or so playing with zbrush

any suggestions or comments as always are more than welcome

Hey Tank, well moved Game Studios from Amsterdam to Newcastle back in ol blighty, so has been a crazy time, and new work keeping me real busy :D things settling down a bit now so gonna be nice to get back to some personal work and trolling threedy, checkin out all the awesome art.

gonna throw my wip head into max and start playing around with some other character designs, got a few ideas in my head but going to just start blocking out and see were it takes me, hopefully have an update later today.

Any suggestions for some wackyness to add to the character, please post em!

small update, thought I'd go with a more renaissance look for his outfit, and leaning towards a high pressure steam gun for a weapon.

haha, he has actually got a cigerette there although its hard to see... I really like the idea of a pipe though :D

Hi!

I suggest to do some more work on face proportions and appearance to get it more interesting.

In my opinion, the corelations between face elements could be a little more accurate.
Don't be so fast with face design, keep trying a lot of variantion until you said yourself "looks really cool":)

it's the weekend and finally some time to do some work on Morris :D well a couple of hours at least.

thanks for the comments guys and levus - for sure. everything is still very much in blocking out / wip mode at the moment, and I ll be certainly working on the face some more. I do however want to go with some very styalized feel to the model, and am gonna be very quick and dirty with the high poly's and sculpting (mostly caus I aint got much time to spend on it!)
