hi!
the concept is very clean, which can be a good, and a bad thing too. I don't really know your work flow, but i suggest you to draw the whole concept first, and after you have a detailed idea, you should move one to modeling. Changing things on the paper is much easier than in modeling.
The model is really following the lines of the concept, you sticked to it really well.

How much time do you have left?

Thanks. Yes i'am fleshing it out on paper as I go along. I have 15 more days. Should be enough.

Hi bakuryu06, I think Cordero was referring to the time limit when he asked how much time you have left.

OH yes, time wise, this took about 100minutes. A Question: does the 240Minutes include Modeling, Lighting, Texturing, and Rendering?

Ok, so I finally got some more time out of work and got the last hours in. =/ I realized that i was putting too much detail and had to HURRY UP! I also could not build the model for meshsmooth and have to just work with smoothing groups and textures =/

I might do another entry.

Here is a quick render with LOW settings. Still have to texture and small environment with only 8 days to go!!

Truthfully speaking, I think this is very cool. It's a shame you could not smooth/finish it more. Looks very 80's representation of future vehicles. Good work.

First time doing a speed modeling challenge. I never imagined how short of a time 240 MINUTES really is =(

I hope to hide a lot of the imperfections through texturing.

yes is never enough time :D, if it's 1h 2h 4h or even more :D but that's the fun of it.

Yes, But think to create a FULL Car + Detailed Guns and tires need more than 4 hours lol :) You are correct though, it is a good push!

It looks like a 'Mad Max' vehicle, it's awesome! To bad you didn't have time to smooth it... Great model nonetheless.

Going for a mean beaten look. Poor things been through a lot of wars! Definitely not a rookie.

Texturing this puppy has been REALLY FUN so far. Don't know which direction i am gonna go with the guns or the tires yet though. We'll see =)

i'm amazed by the texturing work. nice job

was just looking at the model - overall simple and effective but i would love to see how it would look if you could enlarge by diameter the minigun - looks too thin when compared to the car, tires etc.
