reminds of, if a preditor had sex with a polar bear, and the bear had a baby.

Absolutely! i was thinking the same thing! not the graphic parts tho. It was more like the birds and bees version.

I really really like this man =) Good job! Love the atmosphere! Feels very...windy and cold and blizzardy!

The extra snow takes away from the scenery imo, preferred the previous update. Really like the character.

I'd go for 2nd.. composition is much interesting. But that other yeti, what is he doing looking to the right?

I really love ur color especially http://forums.3dtotal.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=155672&d=1266097217

thanks Randize!!

i was trying to make them look like they are running around snowmen/mutants, free in the snow. do you think i shuold make the second one face the viewer aswell?
the colours are stronger in that one i'll soft light the colours back in

It's ok if you want the second looking to that direction, but I believe you have to tell the reason why. It can greatly enhance the storytelling in the painting.

You added some blood which I feel has more interesting story behind it rather than just running in the blizzard, and the creature looking towards the camera made it look as if they have done something really bad. That was a nice touch, I like that.

I've also seen painting like what you were intending to do before. I don't recall where the painting is, sorry bout that. I do remember what made me like it. The artist utilized motion blur to show the motion, and with all the great colors, lighting, pose and design. I was totally taken by it. The painting show dynamism, and I believe you can tilted the horizon line for additional dynamism too. haha

Really nice one there!
I liked the pose from the first image, but this latest one is very nice indeed.
I think the nose needs a bit of rework as they don't look that similar, facially, right now...

The Background creature actually reminds me a bit of a creep made in the "designing creatures in photoshop" vid...(Don't know which though.)
