so i thought of something along those lines, a mix of organic/unorganic animal.
or completly mechanical but the shape of a bee/hornet/ant.

I wanna see this especially as it'll be 90% modelled instead of sculpted :)....that would be so easy with Zbrush for you I bet. So impress me with your organic modelling the old fashioned way :)

Really looking forward to this one! I personally would never have thought of this approach so I'm waiting for your ideas to come to fruition... as much as can be done in the time frame anyhow:)

Are you gonna render it with your new toy :D?
dunno pablo if i am gonna render it with it.
probably end up doing it in modo.
worked 25min in total on the body and the drill.

Really great work you did there Baldur, love it so much, one of my favs so far.
If you like the idea, I would do a more powerful angle, like a low shot one, that shows the face close to the camera, the wings would be better seen from that angle, and if you add some nice dof, you'll have an ace render.

so sweet, nice concept very original, and the modeling is so good look perfect like an hornet. The render is nice to, the light in the antennas and eyes are fit perfectly.
