so heres the final painting. it was done today (4th Feb) actual size is about 4000x3000 at 300dpi. please feel free to crit as i can go back and change things before the deadline if needed :). anyway, heres my snowman.... :)

:) good stuff tom!!!, watch the perspective on the foreground think it needs moved up a little. The finals thread will be up near the end of the month, then we just post the WIP and final on there. still have loads of time to play with. mind if i do a little paint over? i'll stick it up on facebook

Wow that's some great stuff there!! I really liked the concept of the snowman...looks like a giant...snow troll haha, amazing! The textures for the mountain and ice are also very fine!
I just have a single complaint...the men seems to have no reaction...I mean, if I were one of them I'd run away or shoot at him with whatever I had close to me lol

Anyway, this is a great piece! Good luck in the contest!! =D

Hi ! WEll i really like your painting but the theme of this challenge is a SnowMan and you creature :P don't look like a Snowman :P so you are not really follow the rules .
