Silverflame - Snow Creature - Loznuveas

Lovnuveas (Creeping Wind) an apex predator; a genetic relation to the big cats of Earth, physiology is similar although some enhancements made to allow for hunting on the great ice plains. The bony protrusions on it's tail act in a similar way as an ice axe and can also be used when travelling at great speed to alter course. This species has excellent stealth abilities despite it's size earning them the name Creeping Wind. Two sets of eyes allow it to see infrared as well as the normal spectrum.

Little update started building the base mesh in max, never done an animal before so finding it tricky but a good learning experience. And I'm determined to finish it this time since the last 2 comps have been plagued with personal life matters which have prevented much work :(

I'm surprised nobody has commented yet! I think that is an excellent idea! I've yet to do organic modeling either, so wait to go on challenging yourself... I'm not quite so brave yet:)

quick update on the basemesh

I like your sketch, looks cool. What's the business with the extruded rings of polys at the joints?

It's just to give a bit more shape, it'll be neatened up once i get it into zbrush and retopo

Finally got some free time to finish the basemesh and get it into zbrush. Just filling in some of the bulk atm.

Haven't modeled the teeth or inside of the mouth yet which ill do after getting the outer "snarl" done
