Hey guys and gals.
Another fantastic competition, and another chance for me to start and completely fail to finish :D
looking forward to seeing all you crazy, icy and incredible creations!
I'll be having a blast at an Ice Imp (or maybe a group of ice imps....) in a Blizzard / Torchlight style kinda thing.
here's my super speedy, ready for zbrush base mesh. now to dust off the wacom.
Any crits and comments are always welcome

Hey guys,
a speedy update. trying to move forward pretty fast with this (I really want to finish this time around and know I won't have much time after this weekend!) so, cutting some corners, and just trying to push the larger design elements, gonna see if I can get colour doing most of the work for me :P
a few images of where I am at right now.
some more high poly stuff, a low poly (8000 tri's or there abouts) with baked normals, and my start at blocking out colours for diffuse..
whew.
as always crits, comments, suggestions or any randomness is more than welcome.

Looks great. I think maybe adding some saturation to the color would be good.

Yeah definately looking rock-solid. I agree that he might need more saturation to make him "pop" more. And he definately needs to look frostier and crustier (are those even words?)
Maybe some icicles hanging from his horns or something?

Looking great, I love the style. I'm kinda new to the whole organic modeling thing but I have a question. For the horns, eyeballs and teeth, were they all part of the same object just different edit poly elements/maybe UV groups or were they separate objects just saved under the same .obj?
