Hi this is my concept doodle of my icy creature "Crystal Beast".
http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa37/sagiarts/CrystalBeast1.jpg

Basically its a mix of cat family creature with some ape
but the most fascinating part of the creature is that it has a row of crystal which has been genetically trasfused with its back. And those crystal rods acts as its major weapon and stands out when its angry or while its going for an attack.
Though I have a clear vision about the character art pipeline but I am a total novice in case of game engines.
It will be a gr8 help if my freinds help me to choose the proper game editor for the final display

hey sagiarts!

i like the head a lot! Its an original combo of animals i think.
The pose is pretty nice too:D
I don't really like this kind of proportion, but some people do, and i think you do too and that's what counts:D

Good luck, looking forward on your progress!

(btw, nice stuff on your blog)

Creature looks pretty cool.

As far as game engines go, 8MonkeyLabs Marmoset Renderer is pretty hot right now, a lot of people are playing with that. Here's a link to their site, and to a thread on PolyCount that's got some helpful stuff about it as well.

If this were a head scuplting challenge I think you'd have already won. It's a low poly challenge though so don't stop yet! Can't wait to see more.

The one with furs is really cool i think. Looks even better with them on!:D
Some of the muscles seems to me a bit weird, but its a fictional creature, so that works i think.

I'm curious about how you're gonna do the fur.
I hope you can finish this!

you might want to play with the idea of bringing in the hips a bit. At the same time lessen the gap between his legs.
