Hi, joining this a bit late...hope I can finish in time! I've sketched out my general idea. Now I'm going to start to render and correct it and finally add some colour. There are some great entries so far and some people have even finished!!!
Goodluck everyone.

interesting!
I think making the snowman slightly looking to the pointed direction or to the kid would make some sense. :) but still love the composition so far. very nice.

Hi Randize,
thanks for the comment, yes I agree with what you said;). Since my last post I had already decided to just focus on the snowman! I've dropped the kid, created a little more breathing area. Anyway, here's a little update. Tomorrow is crucial if I'm going to finish this! I need to finish my rendering and start some colouration tomorrow!
Take care and good luck everyone!

Zakuro, thanks for the comment. I thought I had replied to your post but it seems not! Yes I hope I can finish too, I think it is going to be right down to the bone for me on this one!
Cheers,
Colin.

deff creative. looks more peaceful than most that have been done so far. i think that if you could add the child into it someway it would make it look even more noble and peaceful probably. Which is not the image that most of us get when thinking of an abominable snow beast. maybe just focus on their faces and overall composition and leave the rest sort of painterly. Good work, keep it up.

Hey animationutz, thanks for the comment. I love scary monsters etc although for this brief I went in the direction of the peaceful creature without hesitation! Yes , the child I am going to think about for the reason you stated and a few others for and againsts I have in my mind. I think time will be the deciding factor in the end though.
Take care,
Colin.

This is the first bit of colour I have slapped on. Still have details etc to change and add, and a few other things to change as well. Anyway, thanks for looking!
