I've been kind of busy and didn't get in on last month's competition. A little bit of a late start here, but I think I have time to get this done this week.

Here is an initial sketch page with some designs based on different creatures. You can see that I am thinking of the classic bigfoot film footage here. Also, I am playing around with the idea of hitching the snowman to a sled.

Another sketch page. Here I am making the snowman look more like a caveman with a lion mane. Also playing around with the idea of the snowman at the top of a cliff.

Here is another page of sketches with a few more creature designs. I have decided the snowman should be on a boat that is frozen in the ice and have done a few composition sketches.

A more detailed view of the final composition sketch from the previous page. The snowman is bigfoot from the classic film footage, but his fur will be white. This is on the deck of a Russian icebreaker with at least one frozen corpse and the sunset in the background. Now I just need to find some photoreference of bigfoot and Russian ships and I can do the final drawing.
