Agree with kirgan, if we don't follow your progress it can be really suspicious about if your'e entry was created especially for this challenge or not.

Agree with kirgan and MightyReg: the wip thread is a little short. Impressive image however. A 'backstory' would be nice to fill in the detail for the theme. Doesn't immediately says goft to the gods. I assume the dragon is the sacrifice?

hi, I can understand what you`re saying... I am quite new to competitions like this...I just really liked the title to this competition... so I made this image but wasn`t even sure till the end if I was going to post it at all.

Anyhow...yep the Dragon would be the sacrifice to the gods by this group of people living in the woods, whom for now i am going to call the monks of the forests.

I'm actually quite sad for you, you should have paid more attention to the rules, take a look of this, it was posted by the Mod. BigToe 3D at the
brief thread after a question about the wip thread, :(

you don't have to, but understand, if you don't your entry won't count.

So, if I was you, I would make one. And I would use it. Don't just post everything you all in one day. That will still get you DQ'ed.

So it is obvious that your entry will not count, simply because it is not fair
with the other members,

please don't do this mistake anymore! you just need to post the wips trough
the comp :)

As I see, this is a quite good entry, and there are no any part of the brief says about when the thread must by submitted. Only says that the submitters have to open a thead and need some wip/wire pic to make it clear how the image has been created.

And well yes, 7 days ago, at the 7th-8th page of the brief thread, BigToe 3D wrote that do not post everything all in a day. But there is no update in the brief fonrpage about that. S this is really a hidden rule as I see...

I hope an operator/moderator say something about that soon. I think it would be really nice to let this entry to this challenge.

purpose of a thread is also for change in the project work and also provides reviews of other members, I think it doesn't seem fair compared to others ... but it's true that a little blur in the rules, moderators to decide!

so great work daniel, although I would have liked to see the modeling of the Dragon in wip sheet...

The problem tough with posting everything one day at the end of the competition is that we got no proof that all this was made especially for this contest (which is stated in the rules). Lots of people do dragons in Zbrush, you could have just picked one previous dragon model that you did ( not saying you actually did that, but you could have) and make a scene with it that fits the theme.

I am curious to see what the mods will think about this.

Why could be a proof for a blank start if somebody open a WIP thread at the beginning and post wip pics during the challenge? And why means a dirty submit if somebody not do that?
What if somebody have an almost completed scene and post it here from piece to piece? All of this is just speculating.

This dragon only just a small part of this scene, and even this creature come from the past with this pose and this detail(:)), what about the composition? the background? The dozens of the characters? Do you really think they are done before the challenge? :)

then please quote me that rule. This rule is not exist in the main brief. Maybe it has been graved to stone and guarded by undeath minions:) As I see you just dont want this entry to be valid.:)
