Hi there,

Here's reference sheets and a composition sketch for this month's challenge. I am planning on integrating a lot of the reference into the final image.
A long way to go...but I'll be updating again soon:) school has been busy!

Cheers,

Trevor

Hey everyone,

what do you think I could add to my scene to make it more mystic/abandon? any suggestions on the painting in itself- composition/lighting/perspective?

I think you can try to play with angle of view, if it possible. Now it looks like pyramid is standing on the construction (on the fast look).

yea i see what you're saying. I'll try mess around with that, some fog between the two structures might help to separate them too.
thanks

I think the path the eye takes through your picture is too simple yet. For me it's just a straight line between foreground grass, the podest and the background temple. Some elements in the grass or interesting plants might help. And I'd suggest to open the view a little more. Good luck. :)
