Just getting my idea down before anyone steels it :)

Monsters Inc in the style of Pans labyrinth.

I look forward to pleasing your eye balls.

ZBrush sketch of "Mikey".

This is going to be used as the base for retop, before final sculpt, hence lack of details. ZSpheres are excellent for concepting, but they leave you with a sucky surface to sculpt on :(

Any comments welcome as always.

Creepy...
The lips look cool, but you lost his personality according to me...

Variation, tried to give him a little more personality, think he looks a little sinister now.

Thoughts welcome.

What if you add some flesh on the back of his eye (his neck) and open the eyelids a bit more...?
And if you want to stay a bit true to the original he only needs a single line of visible teeth... :)

Weird and wonderful :)

I like the first sketch better then the second one (it looks like a molester lol)

Could try adding a little more flesh around the eye and moving the arms up a little (think teardrop). Eyelid definition on the second sketch is nicer though :)

I agree with Beindulin about liking the first z brush sketch moreso than the second. Think the mouth looks better

Cool idea btw and good luck!

Hello all,

Firstly, and apology for not keeping this thread updated. Due to work commitments I dropped what I was doing. Then I changed my mind a few days ago and decided to finish what I had started .

This is going to be one big image heavy post, showing some of the work that I have done.

Textures and post production were done in Photoshop. I will happily supply more if asked. I am too tired now to continue with this post.

Again, my apologees for not being more involved during this competition. Next time I will make more of an effort to keep an up to date WIP thread.

Regards
