Yeah, good thing I got some vacation starting next week and the extra days in July are a big help too, I'll prolly end up mixing all three mediums since it's allowed, but it's gonna be 3d mostly.

both options can be a good choice, i would vote for the masked one, because it would differ even more from a regular spartan soldier that way.
Nice progress so far! pay attention to the joints: wrist, and ankle. They very weird right now. And the feet could use some tweaking too.

But i guess it doesn't really matter, coz it'll be covered with a shoe or something :D

Not sure.....maybe masked would work. I think your start is pretty cool, the feet need alot more detailing still on the feet but of course that will come later on because you've only just started out of this character. But so far so good.

Haven't read nor seen that much of spawn but as I have gathered he can deform a bit can't he... How will the shield and spear be done then...? ;)

Yeah he can take shapes so I'll see what I can do with the head and that, for the spear, sword, and shield I'll probably leave them as separate object since if I'm recalling correctly Spawns tend to go back to the weapons they used on their former selves.

here is an update on the body, pretty happy with the over all shape I'm gonna start detailing the body, but if you guys have any suggestions please feel free to pass them down.

First off the guy doesn't have any ribcage.. Secondly I do think you need to press the muscles a bit tighter at places... Otherwise pretty cool...

hmmm I dunno I see a ribcage pretty clear there, and like I said now it's like I'm going to detail the body further so the muscles will be tight at the end. Thanks for the comment though...

Okay a full ribcage then ;). If you look at yourself it doesn't end before the breast muscles... It stretches all around the torso...

when you have a big ass back like most bodybuilders or comic book dudes the ribcage is right under the "Latissimus Dorsi" so it might look like it end right at the edge of the pectoral muscle. Here is what I mean...

But the ribs do go onto the front as well... (meaning the point where the ends of the ribs meet) No matter how beefcake you are XD.

But I get your point... Might just want to make something there.... Instead of the breast going into stomach right away...
