Movie Mashup - The Lord of Galactica - Mithras

I thought about mixing Battlestar Galactica ( I hope a pilot movie justifies using it in "movie mashup") and The Lord of the Rings.

I guess It will be pretty impossible to compete against all these awesome entries :haha:

And this is what I plan to do (Cylon vs Gandama):

First WIP, I'm going to Sauronize the body armour as well

cool looking good :) are you putting more spikes on his head like the lich king (think thats what he is called :)

The Head will all in all get 6 Spikes, just like Saurons helmet. The only change will probably be the Cylon laser sight.
I'm currently working on the legs, which are very tricky in my opinion :wall:
Maybe I'll just leave them out and only show the upper body

These legs have been driving me crazy. I still need to do some tweaking and detailling on them, but the worst part is done.

In the end he will look something like this, some spikes here and there and maybe he'll also get Saurons mace and his cape
And in case I manage to finish him, he'll get Gandama as a companion

Thanks. Yeah, you're right :)

The current texture is temporary on some parts and i want to replace it with some individually painted ornaments. Unfortunately unwrapping and all this annoying stuff is taking me ages (maybe because it's the first time I'm seriously trying to do it).
Only things left to do apart from textures & Light, are arms, mace, posing and background :dance:

Looking cool, try a different position for the eye. Depends if u have modeled the legs

also put a light side, to improve the atmosphere (warm color)
