Softimage|xsi Vc Maya

I'VE BEEN USING CINEMA 4D FOR A LONG TIME AND NOW I FEEL LIKE MOVING ON EITHER TO MAYA OR SOFTIMAGE. I'VE BEEN DOING MANY TUTORIALS FOR BOTH AND I FEEL SUPER CONFORTABLE WORKING WITH XSI (THE INTERFACE, MODELING, ETC.) BUT MAYA HAS FLUIDS, PAINT EFFECTS AND SOME OTHER FEATURES THAT XSI DOESN'T HAVE.

I'D LIKE TO KNOW YOUR OPINIONS!!!!!

no doubt that both maya and xsi are great programs that very talented people spent a lot of time developing, but if my goal was to work in the 3d graphics industry professionally, then i'd probably go with maya, just because i read about more studios using it than xsi.
