No drawings or anything but didn't know where else to put this soo, how do you guys get in the mood to draw? Because lately I have really gone down on my momentum in drawing. Now that it is summer its even worse and I really wanna draw but I can never get in the mood to draw. Any help?

What kind of subject matter do you draw? I'd suggest either seeing a movie or reading a book along those lines. For example, if you are into sci-fi, read some sci-fi novels or see some sci-fi movies. I lean more towards reading books since that works more towards developing a picture in your mind.

nah, I usually just get ideas out of nowhere, just poof* and I start to draw it but then I get sidetracked and cant restart...and then I think its crap. I'm a sad sad little man :) I used to just start drawing and for like 30 mins. straight I would just draw and draw like really quickly until I finished it... Oh, and I usually drew stuff at school cuz I would get really friggin bored. Yeah, and now I am like depressed cuz I wanna draw but I dont draw but I wanna draw...I guess I dont have any inspiration right now...

happens to all of us sometime, at least to me. when it does...u should try out different art styles.
if u usely draw with a pencil, u could try making something with like oil paint, or even sculpting sth.

It WILLS itself.

Start doing something, ANY something and motivate yourself to endure the first few painfull minutes.
Sometimes that´s all it takes for your Muse to finally turn off the TVset and come to your rescue. :)
Gradually, you will start to grow fond of your drawing and confidence will install itself.

yeah, like an hour after this I got an idea and I drew this wierd cyclops vampire head thing, I have come to the conclusion that if I can't draw I get a depressing feeling come over me until I draw something again. :mad:
