Not too sure I like the staccato look of the cuts... Other than that I think the art direction looks very cool indeed and I really hope to meet that boss in game... :D

It's not the real trailer. It's a Pop-block.

Yeah that's then one I actually talked about, knew it would be something about that since they haven't released any more as of yet...

Can't wait until this one comes out - got to love Bioware's unfailing dedication to producing brilliant RPGs :)
Anyone know how much cross-over there is between this and the original DA? Is it like Mass Effect where you can transfer your main character across or do you start again from scratch? Hope it's the first one... I put a lot of effort into defining my elven gal!

Great trailer. The only thing I don't like is, the creature doesn't move a a creature. Moves like a man. Motion capture! Not good if the actor doesn't understand how to deliver the performance.

Think I read that you can transfer it. But the main story is about that guy in the trailer so not completely sure what role it will fill...

Okay I just looked it up in the Dragon Age 2 FAQ and it says this...
Will the Dragon Age 2 story react to the decisions I made in Dragon Age: Origins?
Yes. If you import your Origins playthroughs, you will experience the consequences of the choices you made previously. However, this is not necessary to fully experience Dragon Age 2.
So the character won't be the same but the decisions you've made will be there... Perhaps statues???

Don't think of him as a creature. It's more like another race.
Just because he has blue skin and horns doesn't mean he must move like a monkey ;)

Thanks for the link, NJ - those damn pop-up things pretty much ruined the video at the main link.
