Hi Guys,

I'm a 3D artist doing training sims and forensic work, but I'm looking to get into the games industry and am currently putting together a portfolio of work.

Can anybody give me any advice as to what sort of stuff I should be putting in it? At the moment it's a lot of low-poly stuff that I've done here at work (builders, kitchens, trucks, etc).

Thanks,
TimmyG

As long as it's all good work. It doesn't matter. Show a variety. If you are wanting to ba an artist show models and good textures. Sometimes it's perferable to exhibit good 2D skills too. But mainly strong 3d work will get you in.

It was started by an actuall game artist trying to give advice. Check it out
