We are very delighted to announce that
Digic Pictures latest cinematic, the Civilization V has been awarded
to ‘Best Technical Prize’ at the SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 Computer
Animation Festival! Digic is proud to have won this prestigious award
for the second time in two years: in 2009 Digic won this award for
the first time with Assassin's Creed 2 cinematic!This year, the
submissions were very competitive compared to the past years. The
jury reviewed around 670 entries from over 47 countries and evaluated
the films on many different points, such as the quality of animation,
story, visuals, and overall impact. Out of the submitted works, they
chose 28 works to be in their most prestigious showcase, Electronic
Theater, where Digic's multiple award winning Civilization V
cinematic will be presented in Seoul, Korea, December 2010.
