3D MAX 4 error

Hi!I have a problem with 3D MAX 4.Every time i start Max i get an error:A component of the software license is not available.The program will exit.[Code 1]
What can i do?

What OS r u using coz if youre using XP u need to download the new version of c-dilla. Maybe that'll work

I'm using Windows ME.When i reinstal windows,MAX don't make any problems for a few days and after that it's start to give me this error.
