sup, about the feedback thing, dont worry, the 2d part of this forum is quite dead...

i really dig the poster, i really like the contrast of the dark foreground, but in some places its a bit overdone and almost takes over while its supposed to bring the rest of the pic out...

oh, and it looks like finding nemo :D ;)

I was about ready to go to conceptart website and post there.. but they scare me.. heh..

Couple suggestions, take them or leave them.

Lower the contrast in your top left and bottom left corners...it's pulling away too much from your subjects.

Don't use absolute black. Black isn't a color...give it an emotion...either slightly warm or slightly cool...depending on where you want it in space and in the emotional context of the poster.

As for your red and blue fish. A little trick I use to pull and pop things out is use tiny bits of their complementary color right next to the focus. Example, you've got a red fish...maybe put a bright green highlight on the top...very very thin line...use this sparingly. You can do the same w/ your blue fish...use orange.

I love the abstract shapes you are creating on the left...could we see a little more on the right? You could even create some slight intrest to interrupt the visual plane w/ slight value or hue variations w/ in. Not a lot.

There you go, my thoughts and critque... I hope you can use them. An excellent concept as far as the poster and color harmony goes.

Why is written in spanish? It looks a traditional illustration and it makes me happy ;) (it ussed to see a lot cg here). The main fishes are red and blue like FN ones. Perhaps with different colors...

I think you are a very talented artist indeed! That's a beautiful image. It's excellently composed for a print-based medium. Congratulations Mr smarty-pants.

dork : a whale penis,
A person who farts in the bathtub and then eats the bubbles.
or
Slang for an unintelligent and self-indulgent person.

we are dorks as in the 3rd one not the first 2
