Yeh, sorry to make a new pos..but this took a hell of a lot of work. So , thought it should have its own thread.
This was a pleasure to make, it was fun, frustrating and it feels amazing to finish it. I reminds me much of the designs of Carlos Huante. This was a design created in 2D by Jerad S Marantz , another amaingly talented, and imaginative man. I admire his work, so decided to make this for my portfolio (Only) as a test of zbrush skill. Texturing skill. I used many different ypef of brushes, techniques for you see there are so many different shapes! It is a modelers, artists, dream to sculpt something so detailed and how I do love monsters.

OH ! YEAH !

I get to be be the first to comment on this amazing piece of work !!!

Congrats dude..... Love the zbrush on this one.... not the most complicated which often implies beeing even more precise to really make the soul of the concept art come through !!!!

Great job.... Love all the folds and fleshy stuff LOLLLL

It is a good piece to practice too !!!!

Ill check back for that final render for sure...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You intend to pose it and make a background????

Could make for a really crrepy still image with a corpse or something....!!!!
Man Im already wondering how this thing would kill an hapless miner on a far off forgotten mining colony !!!!

Hey Good Luck and Keep at it.... You got Talent for sure man !!!!!!!

Great job on the details, may I ask what's the actual polycount of this model?

Maybe try some different eyes though, the actual ones are nice, but they don't draw your attention to it that much. You might also want to try some wet material on the cavities of the wrinkles or the mouth region, could make the creature even more creepy. That's only my personal ideas, not ment as a crit.

TDW ;)

Killer details on this one, very impressive brushwork on that torso. Not to crazy about the hind feet though.. The specular/gloss on the textured render is very lacking, bring that up to level with the rest and you have a truley awesome piece here, reminds me a lot of the beast in cloverfield
