I think maybe the legs are a bit short. thigh compared to the upper body kinda shows it.

Real Poo, I modeled the sofa last night then my laptop went blue screen and the max file wont open so delays again, hmm :s

did you try the merge scene option.

Sometimes a file will get screwed up and max wont open it, but the mesh's inside the file are fine. So, what you need to try is this:

Create a new file with nothing in it. Just start over. Then go to file, merge. Select the file that is giving you issues. Click it. You will get a list of allthe objects in that file. Select the object you want. Click ok. Cross your fingers and hope its imported into the scene. If it works, save it. Then, take a deep breath and model.

Cheers fella, I think I tried a merge last night and it didnt work but I always just try to merge everything, I will try merging just one object at a time.
