Hi all,

I am new here. I have been "lurking" for a while however I now wish to enter DMV(Dominance War V not Division of Motor Vehicles:haha:) to have some fun and learn a lot. You guys have a great community and I can't wait to become a part of it.

Anyways enough of the introduction; down to business.

I have never modeled a character before so I started with a quick character background to get the ball rolling:

During the Great Time of Peace before the first wars for Dominance began the position of War God was held by a frail, weak man named Ares. His weakness was what allowed this great time of peace to be maintained with an absence of war. The God of Death, Demos, was starving from the lack of men dying and tricked Ares into relinquishing his immortality. Demos than stole Ares life. The council of the Gods was now forced to chose a new War God.

The council of Gods chose a young, cocky lad by the name of Romulus to take Ares place as War God. Romulus immediately began to start disputes between villages to test his newfound powers, confident that he could resolve them at a moments notice. However he became addicted to the power of others anger and soon started the first wars for Dominance. The council was angry with him and stripped him of all of his honors, excluding immortality. They sentenced Romulus to a life of age; their age.

He became the God of Age, the one burdened with the age of all immortals; immortality is the ability to not die, you will still age. However, the immortals have always given their age away to be carried by others. Previously it had been carried in small amounts by every human, however the gods changed this to give Romulus punishment for his naivety; he would carry the age of all immortals for all time. However, the council over looked one thing; the “age” of immortals had given wisdom to humans. Now that Romulus was burdened with all of the “age” of the immortals, he was also blessed with whatever wisdom they would gain in the future. The result was that humans ceased to become wiser and Romulus became the wisest, and oldest, man/god in the known universe.

His wisdom has been accumulating sense the beginning of The Wars. He had become bitter with all of the injustices that the gods had come to commit. In his wisdom he determined when the right time to strike was and struck. He stole the life from every god and became the only remaining. However, because his wisdom came from the actions of the gods which no longer existed, he ceased to become wiser.

It still needs to be refined and I should probably get going on some concept. Any CC is appreciated,

Cozmo

Sounds like a pretty cool back story :)

Let's see some concepts to see how you picture it...

I like your concept story, I'm not alone with an immortal thing concept (don't worry I'm onto 2D category).
For me immortal mean they can't/won't die, and eternal mean no end (no start), so I put the age concept aside that's not related in the same way, even if I got the "oldest one" too. I'll keep an eye, gl!
