Dominance War V - 2D - Bieber's Bane - DaddyDoom

Basic Plot for
"BIEBER'S BANE... DIVINE ENTITY OF THOSE WHO HATE JUSTIN BIEBER"

Centuries passed and the plague wielder J-Bieber continued to commit terrible atrocities towards his people, after his PR Agents managed to find a way to keep him permanently a teenager. His voice still shrieked like a 12 year old, but deep inside, his heart was black as coal. And thus the Great Vast Pain endured, as centuries spanned.
But the blood that spurt from the ears of millions slowly soaked the Earth, and during that time, the Earth drank it avidly, and those who suffered thought their blood was lost in vain... But no...
Deep within the Earth's core, the blood was gathered, creating rivers and seas and oceans. In the center of it all, a tiny Crystal Geode (the last remnant of the meteor that extinguished dinosaurs and dodos), contained inside the seed of Jahallbarzzork, The Last of Bane Gods.
All the blood, containing the rage and the suffering and the hatred, fed Jahallbarzzork for 500 years... And he grew back to its original form.
He rose, from magma and blood cloth, wielding his weapons: The Spoon Of One Thousand Little Testicles and The Fork Of Justice.
Whit these, he sought for J-Bieber and thus relieved him from his annoying little head and his tiny little testies.
The world was free again, and Jahallbarzzork rented a small flat in Las Palmas and married a blind gipsy.

I think "The Spoon of a Thousand Little Testicles" was my favorite part lol.

I think maybe a nipple ring and a tribal-armband tattoo would really sell it. Look to the guidos from Jersey Shore for inspiration :-P.

Ok, been trying to decal the new sketch so I can scan it and paint it.
Since I don't have a wacom or any of those fancy contraptions, I have to stick to old fashioned techniques, long forgotten.

Don't whine Big D. I'm still hand painting cells and then photographing them one at a time, but I also run a sweat shop in china where a bunch of 3 year-olds do that kind of thing for me. It's amazing how much you can get for 4 dollars a month.

Why do you complicate?
A spoon and a fork are simple and non-expensive instruments, capable of dealing huge amounts of pain. Gods are practical and pragmatic entities you know?
Here's a new step, with some color/texture tests. I still have to think about a background for him...

I've been thinking about adding some sort of banner/flag structure on his back, a bit like the samurai used, but instead of cloth it would be J-Biebs skin.

So, now that the character is kind of blocked out and defined, I've started to sketch up a scene for it.
Here's a quick skit of the moment when Bane cracks the Earth and chops off J-Bieb's head and testies.
Let's see if I can pull this one off.

Still not feeling the DomWar in this one. It needs to be more EPIC. Like he need some shards of some stuff floating around make some shape... and of course his boxers need little hearts. His fork is also kinda puny.

Finally some VEINS and WRINKLES are really going to make this dude stand out (well depends on the ratio...:)
