Hallo guys, I'm in for this competition.
As it's my first post I figured I will write at least the basic idea of my god:
It's going to be the first Jinn that ever walked on the world. As he came into the possession of his own vessel (a Hookah with at least three hoses ), he wished himself to become the most powerful being. A more detailed stroy is to come.
Here the concept collection:

Cool cool, I'm all for some djinn styled stuff. Some really cool stuff on your mood board, can't wait to see what you do with it all. Welcome aboard soldier and good luck.

Savus,
started with the head, I'm basically done with the topology, I will maybe add some more loops here and there depending on how much busget I have left.
The shape is not really final I will finalize it once I'm done with the rest

Cool concept, an awesome Djinn inspired character is a great idea.
You seem to be getting into modelling pretty fast though. You're head is looking good, but it might be good to rough out the entire model before getting too detailed so you can easily make changes.
Don't be too bothered with poly count right now either, you can easily scale that back later. Unless your planning on showing a good closeup of your characters face you probably don't need the detail you have in the eyes, ears, mouth and nose.

@ Puckducker Thanks, I know I know, it's just my personal workflow, I have the complete model in my mind so I can work on it without iterating much on the mesh. As for the head mesh resolution I'm just used to see such resolution at work so I went for it.
Greetings,
