Dominance War V -3D - God of ------- Rainbowcannon

Hey whats up guys, for a second there I though dominance was wasn't even going to happen, but I'm happy its here. So I have a few ideas about the god and such but i decided to just look at a few silhouettes and go from there before I shoehorn any concrete idea onto the concept. So here is a little bit for now, I should post more as I get more time to flesh it out.

I'm leaning towards 1, 5, and 6 what do you guys think?

6 is really slick, I like that one. There's a nice confidence in the stance, and a certain elegance in the shape and flow of it, I think it'll make a good god.

Wow, I'm really digging that drawing, reminds me a bit of baba yaga. In any case, it's got great character; really looking forward to seeing your other sketches, especially see what you come up with for nummer 6.

Number 6 stands out. I wouldn't attemp to start something against it by only looking at the pose. Self confident, a God for sure!

Thanks man, and yeah I completely agree with the mask comment. That thing needs work, It looks more French than it does native american. I'll toss together several alternates and see what works.

I start off with a hard edge brush with pure black and size based on pen pressure to simply drop down some shapes. Once I see something that might be a little interesting I use the eraser to try and define it slightly (the eraser is a hard edge brush with opacity based on pen pressure).

Once I have something I kind of like I go ahead and use a the same hard edge brush but this time I use a gray at 127 (which is middle gray) to bring out some form and suggest volumes. Once I'm done with that I'll go in with a pure white and make some parts pop. Then lastly sometimes I'll add some color to it, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. yes that helps can you maybe create the brushes you use i dont really know the differnce XD in ones^^
