The basic concept of this movie poster will be of a legendary & mystical stone hawk. If you see anything which doesn't correspond with the rules, please tell me. I will be posting some base meshes soon.

PS can I use this idea for this contest, or is it against the rules?

Hopefully I will finish the hawk's head's basic mesh today. If not today, it will be ready by tomorrow.

The attached image is the first WIP render of the hawk's head. I need to refine the beak and eye part of the head. If you notice anything more, please tell me. Thanks in advance.

As you can see, no work has been done on the beak and the eyes. This is because I have decided to finish the head's shape first.

Finally finished the head. I am now ready to start modeling the wings. The wings won't have feathers, as the basic concept behind the image is a stone hawk. Instead, the wings will be 'plated'.

Hmm the work is going on great. According to your concept it is a stone hawk so you can try giving some stone textures then i think it will put more gravity on your concept.....I am eagerly waiting for your complete work. :)

I am sorry, but I will have to drop out of this contest. I am an administrator of a forum, and lately, we have had a lot of trouble. The trouble has put me back, and I won't finish in time. Also, I fear the worst is yet to come. I hope I will find some time in the future to finish this model though. Thanks for everyone who was keeping his eyes on this, but I really can't make it.
