ATOMHAWK - 3D - Penguin - tongeert

Hello,

This is the first time I participate on a competition. My idea was a penguin guarding the gate of an operation called Atomhawk. I've allready did some work on the penguin. I still need to do the arms. My idea was to do it in a sort of cartoon style but I'll do the materials later.

I created the arms and did some work on the materials.

Maybe I'll change the idea to something like James Bond instead of guarding a gate.

The rest is coming soon, but I don't have very much free time. Here is the same image with improved materials.

The idea was that he has sunglasses.

The penguin now has a gun, and I made the edges from the light a little bit softer.

Hi, you idea makes me smile, but, in my opinion, there's so much you can still explore, even if you want to stick with the "toon" look.

Composition wise, a red head rocket pointing up pushes your eye to much from the main char. I would also play with some textures just to give the forms some volume , put a bit of specular in the sunglasses as they are barely visible.

Just explore and have fun. Hope it helps. Good luck

Many thanks for your help, all crits are welcome and much appreciated. I put a bit of specular on the glasses and did something with the materials, now I still need to think of the rocket.

Changed the color of the rocket to blue.

Made the poster a little bit wider and added a new text layer.

Kabel Bd - Corel Corporation
Terminator Two - ALLTYPE

That was all I could find about the fonts.
