This is the first time competing in a 3D total challenge .... so ill try to give my best shot .... Here im starting off with my initial concept art.

Edit :: I have moved my concept art to post below ... so form here on i will keep this first post (Which will be quickly visible when someone visit this thread) ... for the latest updated including the Final artwork ...

So here we GO !!! Im going to call its finished .... Maybe some color tweaks before the deadline, but its finished now .... ::

I have refined the line work a little and did the basic fill ...

Thanks migroe .... I think you are right ...... that hand is fore shortened ...., But i think there s a problem ..... Ill fix that ... thanks ....

By the way i have painted a rough AO pass to make it look a little 3D .... im going to paint the first light pass next ......

Well after a busy weekend (Its singhala new year here ... so had to do lot of shopping with wife) ...... I have aain started painting .... here is the latest update of the artwork.

Bcos Tom says that portrait layout (27 X 40) is a mandatory ..... I thought of going something like this ..... With the dead line extension ..... now i will more focus on character and environment detail.

Worked on the environment and lighting of the scene and here it is. Right now working on the character detail ...... It takes time since im zooming into 300% percent and painting now .... Trying to finish before 15th midnight ....

Finally got rid of the line work of the character ... so now i think it slowly becomes a painting .... I cant wait to finish this .....

Finally I think the character is finished .... Next step is to work on the text effects and the environment ....... Have to hurry up .... but in the same time have to take the wife for a dinner too ... ALAS !!!!!!!
