help with shoce lace animation! PLEASE!

Hello,

I am trying to animate a tennis shoe. Which is the easiest way of making the shoe lace move along with the steps? I would like it to swing while the person walks.

Is there any way that someone could help me please?

Cloth or rope sim probably

It depends greatly on the software you're using

for animating it as it's being tied together - you can make a rope model and use Pathdeform modifier (3ds max)
