Reddwarf animatic

Hello

This is an animatic I created showing the launch of the starbug spaceship from reddwarf.
It`s taken just under 8 weeks of spare time work in Maya

i loved this! couple of suggestions though:

1. I think that this would be worth going back and adding more detail in the models and textures.

2. When the ship reaches the planet, I would like to see less of the sand and maybe a couple more shots of it landing.

3. Why does it start to get blurry towards the end? Like there are 3 images.

Anyways, like I said, I really think it would be worth going back to add more! Your shots were perfect for 95% of the video and it was sort of epic, but still cartoony and friendly, I think the ship design definitely helped with that too haha. Either way though, I really like it!

Nice animatic Auburn, looking forward to seeing the final rendered version.

The pace of the animation and the music go really well together, I like the scene with the cups on the table and the lights fading on, the Bug moving towards Earth looks nice as well.

Thanks for the comments, I`m afraid I`m not placing in higher detailed meshes or rendering it again(even with the silly spelling mistake).
It was always just meant as an animatic to work on my photography. Plus my machine is a few years too old to cope with high res textures for the planet and spacecraft, though it would obviously improve it looking at some of your animation Chris.
I`ll render out my next short project with a lot more detail.)

good effort.. i can see what they are saying about the textures and what not... and yeah i totally understand not having a machine that cant cope with too many high res things...
