I meant like Bishop, Rook, Pawn etc. Is 'turtle' the name of a chess piece in another language? I'm american so pardon my ignorance.

Sorry, I was being stupid. But come on dude, what are the chances that turtle being a chess piece? That's not ignorance, it's gullibility :haha:

Hey man! The bishop is called 'elephant' in Arabic and the rook is called 'boat' somewhere else!

Cool! Maybe you could augment the turtle's natural armor with metal or leather plates. Just a suggestion.

I'm not sure about the arms.

Define the thumb better. It doesn't protrude from the end like the fingers, it sort of comes out of the bottom/side of the hand more.

Also, define an elbow joint, maybe even a small elbow.

Although he's a stylized character, you can add some size to the biceps, and forearm, just to help develop the shape of the arm more, from being a straight tube.

He needs bigger boobs.

Also, the style of the arms don't match with the feet. The arms should be thicker, In my opinion. If you want a good reference, look up "Master Oogway" from Kung Fu Panda. He had an awesome character design. Might make for good inspiration. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

Hope this helps!
