Just finished this artwork in photoshop 7, critics please ;)

it's my first try on painting in photoshop and I'd say it was worth it- at least I was only using the mouse

for a first try i think you did quite well
i think that the gradient that you put on the lenses makes them look too flat

Indeed, the highlight on the glass would be more specular. Use a soft drush, it'll do the trick. I would also add some highlights on the other parts - like some screwes, etc. to liven it up a bit.;) Only with mouse - really nice.
