The company I worked closed down.

My friends are in good company, but I did not.:ugh:

Honestly, in this industry, it's not entirely what you know, but who you know. Speaking from experience, I have had many opportunities thrown my way because of networking, and I've seen very talented people being ignored because they couldn't sell themselves correctly. I say it's not entirely what you know, because there is skill involved, too. I basically think of it as you get "lucky" or "are in the right place at the right time" to get your foot in the door, but it takes skill to prove yourself and stay in that position. Keep working at it, you will find something.
