Still got some time so why not try to finish it? So this is what I made so far. Total polys is 1.267

Its a fun idea but I really think you should push your self more.

What do you mean with that? Does it need more detail?

Yea don't he afraid to get out of your safe zone. That's what these comps are for. Really push the forms your trying to show. Even if your going for a cartoon style you could definitely add more.

Added some hair on the back. I don't know what to add more.

Maybe you can do more detail on the legs
they look a bit stif

OK, did a some work on the nose, a little bit on the ears and legs and textured the eyes.

I agree it needs some detail but I really don't know what kind of detail I could add.

yes smooth out the edges, corners shouldnt show. place ur loop vertices as circular as possible and then decide where to add more geometry. main areas that caught my eye are the eyes, the the ears, and the wheels of the cart(make the wheel perfectly round)

and just a suggestion , to add more cuteness u can try pink pig wth patterns .

Push some anatomy into it too. right now he looks very piggy bank like. He doesn't really look like he can move. Gather some references of your subject matter. Even if your going for a cartoon look you want to give some anatomy queues in the character to make it feel like he can exist.

What look do you want him to have?

you could add toes

Toes would help, as would defining the body shape a little better. If you were aiming for piggy-bank then the shape is fine, but if you were aiming for something more realistic then you need to start fleshing out the neck, joints and back into a more realistic shape. You have loads of polys available for this challenge, so you can really go to town

This is what I got so far but there's still much to do. Thank you all for the tips.

Allright did some work on the ears, eyes and legs, added a tail and added toes, but I'm not really sure about the toes, maybe I'll rebuild them. Also did some work on the neck and back.

study two pig characters firstly :babe-pig in the city movie.
and then theres an anime called naruto ,which has a pig named ton ton

as for now ur model is improving , i would suggest his snout is too long push it a lil closer to the face.

and ears look like mouse so make them a lil pointy and scale the size down a lil.

try this ref image for some help

That reference is awesome. Should help you a lot.

I think the one thing that is bothering most is the lack of any brow. The eye brow is very important in giving a character well character they help you know the demeanor and mood very quickly.

OK, I've changed the toes again, made the ears more pointy, the nose more to the face and did some work with the eyes.

brilliant job done there tongeert, looking great now.

u have come so far, now only thing i would like u to focus is tweaking the face furthere more and adding some life in the face as well.

now in the ref i shared wth you the bottom lip is just below the snout and upper lip.
in your model the bottom lip has been left way behind so try correcting the mouth.

and by adding life i mean some sort of expression or something that attracts the audience to the pig as well as the whole image.

i hope that helps

great going!! keep it up

OK, again changed the ears a bit and did the mouth. Still need to do something with the eyes. I'm using this: http://diannesylvan.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/pig.jpg as reference for the face.

that is shaping up pretty well tongeert good job.

the nostrils are fine but the area around them is too flat move it out ward a lil bit for smoothness.

and your eye is too close to the base of the ear so youll have to move it a lil bit in the direction of the nose.

so fill in the current i socket cut in again a lil farther.

and please post your wires as well so we can suggest better.

keep up the good work!!
