First, the Desert Eagle i Promised ya. I dont care about the poly count BTW as i know its too high.

As usual i used milkshape 3d for the models. I used PSP8 for the skins, and ultimate unwrap 3d for the uv mapping. Please dont complain about the renders, i really do have max lol.:p

Heh nice design of the pulse rifle, it looks good :)
the desert eagle too don't know for the polycount.. it could be ok, depending on what they're designed for..

ah and the smg texture seem a bit strange... i don't know it's a bit like a drawing, u see ?

oh yeah i forgot to mention that..umm.skin..
yeah its crap, i just wnated to put something on it so it wouldnt be "just a model" im gonna reskin it and reshape it for a MOD soon.
the desert eagle is probably a bit high for the detail level, i coulda probably done it with lot less, but i didnt really bother cuz i just wanted it to look good.

Well...I think you should forget about smoothing the DE cuz the smooth really makes it look awful But without it it looks really good. I don't know but it seems u could downsize the polycount on it cuz it seems ( since you have no wires ) that you got alot of polys that do nothing. But nevertheless nice modelling on all three. Only the DE thats a bit high maybe but it would work in HL2 :D!

I agree with Emperor about the smoothing groups, although some bits need it - like the barrel and the grip of the pulse rifle.

Apart from that, it's all looking good. There seem to be loads of HL2 mods at the moment! Maybe I should hook up with one myself!

yeah i only found out how to turn the goddamn smoothing groups after the first 2 renders.
but i posted them anyway :)
