Welp, another piece...I guess it pays to be unemployed...well...not in the literal sense.

Graphite Underdrawing, Photoshop Painting, help w/ the explosion from Animation Master.

A slightly different version, I was getting really annoyed w/ contrast issues...which one works better?

in the first one, he kinda blends into the background too much, but in the second one, the grey doesnt really say 'action' yaknow?
i think you need to experiment a bit more with the background, i think that spiderman's fine though

the line work of spidey is great, and also the coloring of him is alright, but i really dont like the background (its a problem i have also..making a suitable bg to anything i draw). it really kinda ruins it for me...

Yeah, the background... I didn't know that is's an explosion...:roll: Also it would help to stick to where the light source is... The second one is better, because you cna see, where the spidey is... but it lacks a bit of lightning on the explosion clouds...
