Max5.1 Help. The UI dissappeared!

I don't know exactly what I did or how it happened, but I started up max earlier and it started just fine. However, when it loaded, the interface is gone! All that shows is the help button, redo button, and some menus! Here is a pic I took of it! I've already tried File - Reset and inserting the cd and choosing Repair. Do I need to reinstall it? I really don't want to do that, everytime I do, something bad always happen. :(

I think you went into expert mode. The hotkey is something like x or ctrl-x, alt-x - something like that. Hit help if they don't work & look up expert mode.

That didn't help any, but thanks though. I guess I'll reinstall it. *wince*:(

that happen to me once i reinstalled and it was fine.

kinda late right now
but i just had this happen to me

however i found that when i reload a custom ui then everything popped back together again

so for anyone who reads this, perhaps you don't need to reinstall jsut go to customize ui and load up the default or something and hopefully it'll all be good again
