Here is a low poly character that I've working one, and it's the first time I work in something like this.

It's about 1850 polys, and I set as limit 2500 polys. But I think I'll do also a gun (which I planning to make a low poly version of my futuristic high poly weapon)
I may start texturing it soon.

Comments and suggestions are welcome as always

He's a bit blocky, doncha think? I'd strip a heap of polys out of the hands and use them to make the arms, legs and chest a nice, more organic shape. The head and collar thing are nice, though you might like to add some additional adornment to his hat... perhaps not, up to you really.

You've got a few proportional problems. Hands and feet are too small, arms are a bit on the skinny side. I'd say the first thing you've gotta do is get all rour proportions down, then make him more curvy, especially in the chest, which makes him look particularly block-like. If the armour plates on the arms and legs were more curved you'd also lessen the clunky look too.

He's looking quite good so far though. Everything from the shoulders up looks great. Just do some more work on your body and it'll be well wicked.
