    Hi Mr Bluesummers,
I see a good number of people following your tutorials (including me). And I must tell you that I find it very helpfull and time saving. Anyways, I belong to a hardcore mechanical Design background and have recently switched my job to Arch/Viz. Now, the major problem I face is creating a multi level roofs equally in a single story or a double storey house. I`ve tried couple of "Batzal Roof Designer" tutorials on youtube but all in vain. All the tutorials are either really fast or completely without any instructions of use so I find it a bit difficult to follow those. Now my humble request is can you please design or prepare a "How to create a 3D Roof In max" tutorial so that several people like myself can actually have something to start with. Mr bluesummers your help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

    cheers

    Dear Mr Bluesummers,

Just to let you know that your tutorials are great...I use them like a dictionary!
I have a question: I run a small production company in Switzerland and I am looking for ways to spice up my website and I found VRML97 in the helpers menu of Max 2010.
However, I cannot find any useful info or tutorials on how to use it...or even a good explanation of what it is?
The following explanation comes from the max help file; "
The VRML97 helpers let you create online 3D scenes and interaction using Virtual Reality Markup Language. Insert a VRML 97 Helper into the scene by clicking and dragging at the desired location."
That much is clear, but having trouble actually using it constructively. Even if you can direct me to an example of how/where it's used, would be great!

    Thanks again for any input.
    Regards,
    Giles

I checked out most of your monday movie tuts on 3d studio. I just want to thank you man, they have helped so much. You showed me stuff that I never even thought to think about, like using Direct x shaders, and shell materials to view the object in the render viewport, and perspective viewport. Keep up the good work - you are an asset to the intellectual community, and help individuals such as my self learn the program
