Hey man quick question, where do you look for your reference? When you decide to model a room is there a certain site you look at?

I just started trying to use mental not too many days ago.. i like it i just have to learn all the settings that makes good renders..like right now my chrome is looking a bit pixelated.. don't know why but ill figure it out...sometimes i use ies lighting it depends on the scenes. Mainly for interiors. The snow was something i made its no real big secret i just used a falloff map in the diffuse and a bump map. No i haven't done anything like that yet.. i have been working on my modeling so maybe one day.

I use 3d studio max for everything, I'm currently trying to teach myself Zbrush, Vue, and fumefx for max too. I see you use Vray, I often see a lot of nice results with that do you like it better then mental ray? Or should I ask is it easier to use then mental ray? I also just started using ".ies" file types with the photometric lights, do you use any of those for your projects because your lighting outstanding, I also was wondering how you made the snow in your winter scene? was that a premade shader or was that your handy work? and I was wondering have you ever done any figural work that I could peep?

I don't have an online portfolio at the moment which I'm going to start working on when work dies down a bit, here's the company I work for I did the intro animation, it still needs a bit of work but i used max and poser for it. http://www.nmrevents.com/ I also did the video editing, I'm kind of a jack of all trade here we also do Flash animations but that stuff is more for trade shows and drug companies. Heres a few entries from some previous comps on this site. Hope ya dig!

I recently checked out your portfolio, amazing ****!! I can only hope to be that good with arch renderings, good stuff. I just started taking an interest in arch renderings I hope you don't mind if I pick your brain once and a while.
